Nippers is a great way for children aged 5 to 15 years old to become involved in surf lifesaving.

Junior Activities has been operating in Queensland since 1965 and has grown to represent 35% of the total state membership. The Junior Activities program has become one of the most successful children’s development and sporting programs in Australia.

At Pacific SLSC Nippers are on the beach every Sunday morning throughout the season at 8.30am.

Nippers is designed to provide an educational experience in a wide range of subjects and skills within the aquatic environment. All skills covered assist in teaching children basic water safety and also prepares them to become future patrolling members.

When I first started nippers I was scared of the surf, now I love it!
